Where do you find continued inspiration?
From my Father.
What do you hope to achieve?
Want to show the whole world about my unique art and my miracle vision.
What are your struggles?
As I am middle class women, throughout the day I am having the responsibility of my family, getting very little time to work and it’s really difficult to travel to different places to exhibit my work.
I can only invest in reproducing my work when I sell my work.
Have you achieved what you want?
Actually, I got identification both National and International but want to sell my work and do something for the poor ones which makes my soul happy.
How did you achieve your success?
Planning to do International exhibitions. I hope i will get good response.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I am an Artist with the new talent.
I do the paintings which no one has seen before in history.
No one can copy or reproduce the exact painting of mine so each and every painting is unique.
When I was just 5 years old we used to travel every weekend for 3 hours as my parents worked in different places.
My father is a very creative person, telling so many stories and always makes me see clouds and how it looks like.
“See it is looking like elephant. Now like a bird, see now how it turns into a fish?…”
But I was imagining faces more than anything else. After that I used to see faces in every texture. Not only in clouds but also in rocks, water poured on ground, broken walls, textures of trees and in everything.
Even at my school, I wasn’t understanding how the teacher solved the problem on the board. After she wiped the board with the duster I started imaging the faces on the board.
I never knew that one day it will become my passion and my profession.
When my brothers chose to study commerce I too went to the same college with them but I was not interested in studies.
Step-by-step, my hobby turned into my profession. Starting with doing classes at home then went on to school as an arts and crafts teacher.
I started doing workshops, group art exhibitions and even did solo exhibitions.
I never thought the imaginary faces I was painting in my mind without canvas and brushes from my childhood would appear on canvas.
One day what happened.
I was practising single stroke painting but it was not perfect. I kept trying again and again but it was coming out too bad and I lost my patience and poured black and white paint on it.
I starting smudging with my hands and THERE, I STARTED SEEING THE FACES!
I had started painting faces for the first time on canvas.
When my husband came from the office he appreciated my art and he told me it was very unique art and to keep doing it. I felt very happy and in my next exhibition I displayed my faces painting.
The art lovers are very much attracted towards this and they started buying with full of satisfaction.
That was the start of the journey of my faces painting and it continues today.
I hope it will go throughout my life till my death.
Every person is born for a reason and I think I was born to do faces painting. We have given the name:
“FACES THE EXPRESSION OF MIND”
However some corner of mind I used to feel sad that I didn’t join art college but one day when my little daughter advised me
“If you went for the art college you might be doing the same thing what other Artists do. Your own style would never have come out”
After that I got more confidence about myself.
Now I have done three world records and won National level contest and awards.
I have won international awards, have done my identification in different Art groups and got excellence certificates from different countries.
I hope you like my story.
