We were invited down to the HIP Festival 2017 by HIP Gallery’s very own Alan Raw.
“We are Hull”
Not just a phrase to use at the start of the year when the fireworks were whistling.
This is the time to come out and celebrate Hulls creatives during this years UK City of culture.
HIP Gallery, Princes Quay, Hull.
Kardomah 94, 94 Alfred Gelder St, Hull, HU1 2AN.
Hull Central Library.
now until 30th November 2017.
It was a pleasure to be shown around the exhibitions getting further insight into a truly amazing Festival right on your door step.
There’s still lots to see with access to both free and paid areas so there’s something for everyone.
A fiver gets you access to once in a lifetime exhibitions, workshops and experiences with world renowned photographers such as Matthew Finn (featured in Black and White Magazine), Peter Dench, Homer Sykes, Chris Floyd (Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, Esquire, national Portrait Gallery) and many more.
It’s not just about the big names though!
Upcoming photographers are also celebrated in the exhibition and Alan explains best in the videos below.
There’s talent here in Hull so come along, enjoy the exhibitions and show your support.
Now this is a very special exhibition because we have HIP Club
