Some truly amazing photographers have been part of this festival that celebrates photography from upcoming talents alongside some of the worlds most celebrated (Dougie Wallace, Matthew Finn, Peter Dench, Tom Stoddart, Ian Macdonald, Frieke Janssen, Isabelle Pateer, John Bulmer and more).

We have been lucky enough to have attend the festival a number of times having witnessed each year building upon the last.

This article has been put together to highlight last years 2017 festival during the prestigious year of Hull being the 2017 UK City of Culture.

There were many events that took place independently of the more mainstream events of the Hull 2017 City of Culture and this is one example of how independent organisations and volunteers celebrated what has always existed within the city of Hull and beyond.
