Further details: Painted in-situ.

This sunlit room, is through the archway, from the Great Hall, so light and airy, full of fine French, English and Modern – 19th to 20th century Paintings.

From drawing and recording, and painting in the Gardens and grounds, en-plein-air, this was the first Interior subject, chosen to paint.

Truly inspired, by being in a Gallery of original Art Works, hanging on the walls, the only thought is to try and translate the scene into a loose impressionist Watercolor, executed in one sitting.
